Step 1:
Book your party with Build-A-Bear.

Build-A- Bear party reservations may be made in one of three ways:
A. via the Build-A- Bear web site http://www.buildabear.com/party/default.aspx
B. by calling Build-A- Bear toll free: 1-877-789-2327
C. by visiting the Lakeside Build-A- Bear store located in the Dillard's wing.

Step 2:
Reserve food court tables.

After you book your party with Build-A-Bear, your food court tables may be reserved via the Lakeside web site by clicking here or by calling 504-835-8000 (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm).

Each table will accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. Reservations should made a minimum of three weeks in advance.

Food court tables are reserved for one hour after each birthday party. When you call to reserve your tables our Food Court Party Coordinator will confirm a specific start time and end time for your party.

Please remember that in order to accommodate all requests and especially on busy days, your table will only be available during your designated party times. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our parties on schedule.

Step 3:
Order your party refreshments and balloons.

Once you have reserved your tables, call any of the Lakeside food vendors to order your food and refreshments. For your convenience, Lakeside's food vendors and their phone numbers are listed in the right hand column. Please remember that all food and refreshments for Build-A-Bear Food Court parties must be ordered from these stores.

Birthday cakes are available from The Great American Cookie Company and Puccino's and ice cream may be ordered from Chick-Fil-A, Fairchilds Ice Cream (opening soon), Todd's or McDonald's. If you wish to order other food items, please call any of the numbers below for details and discounts. Please note that Lakeside is not a party to any arrangements with individual food court merchants and does not take any responsibility for those arrangements.

You may bring in your own plates, napkins and plasticware, or if you prefer, you may make arrangements for these items through one of the food court vendors.

Other decorations like balloons may not be brought from outside, but may ordered from our information center at (504)837-4280. The information center will provide a 15% discount to all Build-A-Bear parties.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR REFRESHMENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE LAKESIDE FOOD COURT FOR ANY PARTY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Step 4:
Just before the party.

It is recommended that a member of your party arrive at least twenty minutes prior to start of your food court party to pick up refreshments and balloons. This will help make a smooth transition from one party to the next. Please be considerate of other guests as parties are often scheduled every hour. A complete list of parties scheduled for the day will be listed on the party tables.

Step 5:
Enjoy the party!
